Profile

La Vida is in the town of Bucerias, on a beautiful, wide beach.

This is a small project with graceful, contemporary Mexican design. The clubhouse feels like a boutique hotel. The homes are large, well laid-out and nicely finished.

La Vida blends well with its surroundings, with 23 homes in three rows, none more than four floors. Most have water views, though some are obstructed (and priced accordingly).

The neighborhood is friendly and walkable with good restaurants and shopping nearby.

Pros

- Very well solved and functional floor plans
- Very Mexican feel. Nothing Miami Beach about it.
- Artisanal, colorful, yet cozy-elegant -- good taste
- Good value compared to other beachfront developments
- Small -- just 23 units.
- Bucerias is a fun, lively town with nearby restaurants and shopping.

Cons

- Relatively small swimming pool ... not for lap swimmers.
- Because it is a small development, it supports few amenities.
- (Ugly) minisplit a/c units instead of central air.
