Pros

Relatively inexpensive land. The ready-to-build residential lots feature first class infrastructure, including sprinkler systems, pluvial drainage and all underground connections. Community is family-friendly with good security. Lots of green space and activities. Easy access to downtown and other services. Master plan was developed by award-winning architect Mario Schjentnan.

Cons

Strict zoning regulations and building requirements for all new houses. Must find your own builder and supervise construction. Potential plane noise and traffic from Cancun's airport located 3 miles away.

Lagos del Sol is a huge development area situated around a 55-acre manmade lake. There are 13 residential areas in all - 8 designated for residential lots, 5 for condominiums. Lots range from 4,465 to 15,069 sqft with 13 different residential areas. Phase I: Orquindeas, Golondrinas, Pelicanos, Faisanes, Garzas, Jaguares, Puerto Rico, Flamingos, Delfines. 5 designated for condo development. 810 acres of land in all.
